Kelp Noodles are one of the many healthy product I really like, they are healthy and tasty alternative to pasta and rice noodles and they are easy to prepared. I like to use them when preparing raw dishes like salads, or put them in stir-frys or soups like miso or coconut soup yum!. I personally love them! they are nothing like regular “noodles” though – they don’t taste or feel anything like brown rice, quinoa or wheat but they have the same look of pasta and they are great for people with food sensitivities/allergies to gluten, wheat, etc. They are free of allergens and have a neutral taste. They are thin, clear and crunchy and they are made from kelp, a kind of brown seaweed that is notable for its high iodine content (for good thyroid function). You can eat them raw or cooked. Just rinse or soak them for a little bit in warm water and add the noodles to any dish and they are ready to eat!
I like to get the ones from Sea Tangle Noodle company, but there are other brands that I haven’t tried yet, I get mine at Whole food but I think you can get them at any health food store.
I have to admit they are not for everyone, my husband didnt like them but I recommend you to give them a try at least once, with the right recipe this yummy noodles might become your favorite as well
